Brainstorm
After Priviw shipped, the question was whether the same “curated, honest, region-priced” model held up outside tech and workspace gear. Fashion — specifically accessible luxury: eyewear, leather goods, jewellery, watches — was the test: a category with even more noisy, commission-driven “top 10” content than tech has, and even less of it written by someone who’d actually compare the options.
Discovery
The buyer here skews toward the same professional audience as Priviw but shopping for themselves rather than their desk — office-appropriate watches, everyday sunglasses, a structured bag for daily carry. That overlap is why reusing the underlying system made sense rather than building a fashion site from scratch: the editorial format (spec bullets, a named “best for” persona, one clear price) translates directly, only the product taxonomy changes.
Design
Categories are fashion-specific (Timepieces, Eyewear, Leather, Jewellery, Gadgets) but the card layout, “Best for” convention, and dark theme are intentionally identical to Priviw — consistency was worth more here than a fashion-specific redesign, since the whole pitch is “we curate the same way regardless of category.”
Build
Stood up on the same content-driven product schema as Priviw, which meant launching a second vertical was a matter of populating a new catalog and swapping category taxonomy, not rebuilding the storefront. Pricing and outbound links are still live and region-aware (currently India, priced in INR via Myntra and direct retailer links).
Delivery
Live with a 6-product catalog across four categories, sharing infrastructure with Priviw.
